Just got this so can't comment on durability, but so far I love it...it has one speed (simple!) and is so nice and quiet. I made mayo, cauliflower puree with garlic (low-carb "mashed potatoes" - it's heavenly under fish, try it), chicken croquettes (no problem with raw chicken breast and the tomatoes, etc. that went into it), and several other things and as a food processor rookie, I'm sold. I had the mini prep at one point and hated it since it pureed everything, but this guy is a winner and I'm looking forward to more fun with it.
